Nutrition

It all starts here…..
At Wild Dog Training, we believe that a proper diet is the key to a balanced dog. Before we can think about changing a dog’s behavior, we have to consider what they are eating. Food fuels the body and if that food is filled with unessential carbohydrates, sugars, chemicals, and preservatives, we will not achieve the desired state of mind or level of obedience, focus, or calm that we are looking for.

A species specific, properly balanced raw diet is ideal for any dog. If raw is not for you, recognize that you can help your dog live a healthier lifestyle by choosing a kibble with high quality ingredients and low carbohydrate levels. To help make your dog’s meals as healthy as possible, try adding fresh foods to their regular diet such as raw meat and leafy greens.

Everything we eat either makes us MORE heathy, or LESS healthy. There is no in between… The same goes for your pet!

Kibble.

What you need to know! The pet food industry is just that, an industry. Industry is designed to make money, not to be concerned with the health and well being of your pet. Click below to learn how to choose the best quality kibble for your four legged loved ones.

Raw.

While a species specific diet is the best way to avoid unnecessary fillers, a poorly balanced raw diet is worse than any kibble diet, since kibble diets meet nutrition standards. Click below to learn what you need to know to start your dog on a raw diet today.

I recommend following Planet Paws, Rodney Habib, and Dr. Karen Becker for tons of additional tips on nutrition and raw feeding.
